Consequently, Jada moved with her family to Delaware in order to enroll at the High-Performance Training Center at the University of Delaware. This year-round program specifically focused on training Olympic-level skaters.

After several years of diligent training, Jada began to qualify for national events when she was 14 years old. A memorable moment in Jada Kai’s skating career occurred at the 2007 U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Spokane, Washington. In fact, this was Jada Kai’s first competition as a senior-level skater and she ranked 8th.

From this point onward, Jada Kai began to compete in many international competitions in Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, Japan, Romania, South Korea, and across the United States. Consequently, Jada was a 5-time Team USA figure skating competitor and an international gold medallist. However, in September 2011 Jada Kai announced that she would no longer be representing Team USA in skating competitions. Instead, Jada represented the Philippines and she became the Philippines National Champion in 2012 and 2013. Unfortunately, she was not chosen to compete at the 2013 Nebelhorn Trophy which was the qualifying competition for the 2014 Winter Olympics.

Jada decided to retire from figure skating in 2015 and her final competition was the Four Continents in Seoul, South Korea, where she placed 8th. Following her retirement, Jada Kai lived in Thailand and helped to build the Thai skating program.

After doing so, Jada Kai moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado, and gave private skating lessons. She also worked at a costume/magic shop and she became a bartender.
