Her Early Life
Angela White was born on March 4, 1985, in Sydney, Australia. Her mother was a photographer and her father was a carpenter. She is the eldest child in a large family. Her family lived in Central Sydney until she was 8 years old before moving onto a farm in Victoria and then moved a second time with her family to the Australian East Coast for her high school years.
In 2007, she enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts program at the University of Melbourne. She graduated with first-class honors in gender studies in 2010. For her honors thesis, she conducted qualitative research into female experiences in the Australian pornography industry.
“I saw porn for the first time at age 14 and from that point on I wanted to get into the industry. I had been slut-shamed for my sexuality in high school and the adult industry seemed like a space in which my sexuality would finally be celebrated… Waited until I was 18 years old and sent some nude photos to The Score Group in Miami, Florida. Angela launched her official website AngelWhite.com in autumn 2013 and runs her own production company called AGW Entertainment B.V. In the same year, Angela and fellow Australian Sex Party candidate Zahra Stardust became the first political candidates to film a pornographic scene together.
In August 2017, the findings of Angela’s honors thesis were published as a chapter entitled “The Porn Performer” in The Routledge Companion to Media, Sex and Sexuality.
Angela also said that she would like to go back to university to complete her PhD. Stating she’d like to expand on her studies to include a broader cross-section of performers.
