Oh Yes, Believe It Or Believe It, There Are Actually Benefits of Anal Sex

And here is another much-awaited article about anal!!!  Remember the first we wrote?  Yeah, about how to prepare and enjoy backdoor fun and then if there really is FUN in that super hot activity…

Well, this next one, friends, is about the benefits (yup, there are more than just pleasure).  So better bookmark this 3rd installment of the anal series.  What for?  Come on, you have to show this to your partner if you still haven’t convinced her to take the plunge!

1. You may be more likely to orgasm

According to a 2010 research published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine, 94 percent of the 31 percent of women surveyed who had anal intercourse during their most recent sexual encounter experienced an orgasm.

Those are some pretty impressive odds!

2. And anal orgasms can be intense

They certainly can!  This is because the anus is densely packed with sensitive nerve endings, some of which are linked to the genitals.  But wait, there’s more!

Anal sex can stimulate the prostate and cause an orgasm in men.  Prostate orgasms are powerful enough to unleash waves of ecstasy from head to toe.

Anal intercourse can impact two hot places for women: the G-spot and the A-spot.  Both are positioned along the vaginal wall and can be activated indirectly during anal.

These sites, like the prostate, have the capacity to cause full-body orgasms.  Rubbing them just correctly may result in squirting and the phenomenon known as “female ejaculation.”

3. Some still consider it taboo, which could make it more exciting

And though anal sex now is much more prevalent than it used to be, it’s still taboo enough to introduce that aspect of naughtiness that can throw your arousal level into overdrive.

Taboo sex, often known as forbidden sex, is a popular sexual fantasy.  The mere thought of doing something “strange” or “bad” may be a major turn-on.

Of course, anal sex is none of these things, but if it’s not your norm or you’ve been reared with particular attitudes toward the act, it certainly may be.

4. Plus, it can be a way to explore a new area of your body

You never know how enjoyable a part of your body can be until you try it.  Anal sex feels radically different than any other sort of sex.

Changing up your routine is a great way to keep things interesting in the bedroom, both with your partner and on your own…  really, because…

. It can also be a way to explore your sexual desires

Have you been harboring some naughty fantasies?  Experiencing new things can help you become more sexually adventurous.

Taking control of your pleasure may be really freeing.  And it doesn’t make you less macho, my friend.

Exploring the back roads may give you wanderlust, which may lead to new and interesting pathways of pleasure.

Remember:  Anal sex can stimulate the prostate and cause an orgasm in men.

6. And even introduce new sex toys into the mix!

Speaking of new channels of enjoyment.  Sex toys allow everyone to be on the giving or receiving end of pleasure in B-town.

Anal toys are a terrific way to get your feet wet before going full-throttle back there.

To our lovely sister readers, you can start with a little butt plug as a feeler and work your way up to a penis or full-sized dildo or strap-on using an anal training kit.

If you both want to be penetrated, you can share the love — as long as you use a separate toy or sterilize it first.

7. All of which can help build intimacy if you’re with a partner

Sharing such close quarters with your spouse doesn’t get any more intimate than this!

Anal sex necessitates clear communication and a lot of time spent experimenting with different angles and positions to find what feels right for both of you.

All of this conversation and play can increase the intimacy between two people by an awful lot!

8. There are some health benefits, too.

Yep, there are health benefits to be had when it comes to any type of sexual activity, including:

  • penetrative sex
  • oral sex
  • masturbation

Sexual activity has been linked to:

  • lower risk of heart disease, hypertension, and stroke
  • better sleep, which has its own awesome benefits
  • a stronger immune system
  • headache relief
  • boosted libido
  • menstrual cramp relief
  • happier mood

Diddling your derriere also has other health benefits.

For instance, prostate stimulation may help prevent and treat erectile dysfunction (ED), prostatitis, and painful ejaculation.

If you happen to have an orgasm during anal — any type of orgasm — there are other benefits, including:

  • stress relief
  • reduced inflammation
  • pain reduction
  • improved circulation
  • better skin

And of course, we’ll explain further in another article.

9. Anal eliminates the risk of pregnancy.  Like you didn’t know already.

What a luxury to be able to have some intensely thrilling penetration without the fear of pregnancy.  That doesn’t mean you can say goodbye to barrier protection…

Eva Parcker10. Fair warning, my adventurous friends…  STIs are still possible though, so talk to your partner about safer sex

Penis-in-anus (PIA) sex, in fact, increases the risk of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), particularly for the receptive partner.  This is because the rectum’s sensitive skin is thin and prone to tearing.

Anal intercourse is the highest risk activity for HIV transmission, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)Trusted Source.

Other STIs, including chlamydia, gonorrhea, and herpes, can also be contracted.  Contact with excrement may result in the transmission of other illnesses.

Don’t make that expression.  We’ve all heard that the butt is where the poop comes out.  It’s natural, and whether you can see it or not, you’re likely to come into contact with it.

The greatest method to avoid HIV, STIs, and other illnesses is to engage in safer anal intercourse.

Eva Parcker

Use condoms or other barrier protection, as well as plenty of lubrication, for safer anal intercourse.  You really can’t use too much back there.  Inadequate lubrication raises the risk of skin rips, which are both painful and dangerous.

Also, never go from the penis or a sex toy in the anus to the vagina without first cleaning your hands and replacing your condoms.

You don’t want feces and other bacteria from the toilet to enter your urinary tract, where they can cause serious problems, including urinary tract infections (UTIs).

11. But the real benefit is being able to express what you do — or don’t — want

Variety is the spice of life, and the more alternatives you have in your love repertoire, the better.  This provides you and your partner(s) with a whole new form of pleasure to enjoy whenever and however you want.

Toss in some toys and take turns giving and receiving — whatever tickles your bottom.

Eva Parcker

And keep in mind…  As wonderful as anal pleasure can be, it isn’t required for fulfilling sex life, whether you’re paired or alone.  If you want to keep your backdoor closed, there are lots of other ways to have fun.

See you on the next!!!
