Her latest HBO drama series, ‘Westworld’ displayed her totally naked body and Thandie said it made her feel more liberated.
‘I found myself more empowered naked than I did with the saloon outfit on,’ she said in an interview. ‘I was more comfortable naked because the costume was the most potent objectification of a woman, with the boobs pushed right up, the tiny waist. It’s an invitation for sex.”
Thandie Newton even accused sexy outfits such as fishnet tights and high-heeled shoes of being an invitation for sex. The British star compared her shoots wearing busty outfits to her nude scenes and found out that she feels more respected when she’s not wearing anything.
