When word went out that a Wonder Woman movie was in the works I thought to myself “Oh man, DC’s gonna flub this one again!”
Don’t get me wrong, I love the Wonder Woman character but I always thought she’d only work well in comics because she’s kind of a very polarizing character with her feminist views and all that. I also grew up during a time when Wonder Woman was on TV.
Yeah… I’m that old.
But the biggest reason why I thought it wouldn’t work was because after Lynda Carter, I never really saw anyone else give that character any justice (pun intended).
That is until I found out it was going to be Gal Gadot.
Gal Gadot… seems legit.
She was after all a combat trainer in the Israeli forces and that was right after she had won the crown for Miss Israeli in 2004.
She was also Israel’s representative for the Miss Universe competition. So that should dispel any rumors that Gal Gadot isn’t hot. When a whole country is rooting for you to be the most beautiful woman in the world, that must mean you’re really a hot babe right?
So, she’s beautiful and she can kick your ass. Like a way better looking Ronda Rousey who can actually act.
I bet part of her arsenal was that killer smile. That can easily disarm anyone foolish enough to think that someone so pretty could be so deadly.
That’s why she makes it so believable when she plays the role of the Amazon princess of power. Gal Gadot has the confidence that she can truly kick ass which translates well on the big screen.
We first got to see her in action in the Fast and Furious franchise and frankly I wasn’t too impressed with her there because all we really see is a kind of dark and brooding Gal Gadot that just isn’t too attractive for me. It was like she was playing a stereotypical tough girl based on the blueprint Angelina Jolie established from a few years back. So what happened was she basically became a Jolie clone.
Oh I still loved looking at her beautiful face then but I basically just wrote her off as another girl with little to no dimension to her. I did read up on her and I was impressed by her resume but I wanted more.
During the Batman versus Superman movie, Gal Gadot showed up and I wondered what she was doing there. I found out later on that she was playing the role of Wonder Woman or Diana Prince at that time. I was intrigued. Gal Gadot looked better than when she did in the Fast and Furious movies she appeared in. She actually looked healthier. More filled out. Not thin as a rail.
And I could finally see boobies now.
So when the announcement came that she was going to play Wonder Woman oh I was all in. DC finally made me interested to go see one of their superhero movies.
As Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot had to get a more muscular physique. She managed to do that while still remaining feminine. What we get to see in that movie is a toned Gal Gadot which is perfect for her role as an Amazon princess who trained in fighting her entire life.
And get this: she did most of her stunts. While pregnant. She should be called The Amazing Wonder Woman because of that!
And why didn’t we notice it? Well, it was digitally manipulated and she had to wear a green suit for some of the stunts she did so they could do that.
For the more dangerous stunts that she obviously couldn’t do, well, a stunt double went in and did that which probably explains why her ass changes sizes every now and then.
I guess that’s my only complaint with Gal Gadot, she just doesn’t have that nice ass I’d expect from someone as hot as her. Up top, she’s only a measly 32B but I’ll let that slide because if they were a size or two bigger it wouldn’t look right when she’s fighting.
Plus, I wouldn’t be able to focus on anything else except those swinging jugs while she’s swinging her sword around.
Some people complained that they were too small for Wonder Woman but their only point of comparison was the actual comic book character. News Flash Boys: She was drawn that way so we could fantasize about her.
Gal Gadot’s boobs for all accounts and purposes are perfect for the movies.
Oh yeah, that’s when she filled out her rack. I understand people were concerned about her not having boobs because earlier pictures of her do show that she really lacked in the mammary department.
Enough debating, let’s discuss the finer points of that movie.
Let’s see… I think the casting group actually did a good job when they got Gal Gadot for the role. Her face is perfect for the role. Her face is angular enough without being too hard or too soft. I even went back to my collection and checked if I was right and she really does resemble the comic book character. It was as if she was born to play this role.
I think it is Gal gadot’s eyes that really sells the character because she has such expressive eyes. Her eyebrows too. Yeah she can express a lot of emotions through her eyebrows.
And her lips. Damn. Although I prefer it when Gal Gadot smiles, every expression she makes with those lips just seem to turn me on.
I was actually turned on when she stood in front of that machine gun fire with only her shield saving her from getting shredded to bits. That iconic pose will remain in my mind and I bet millions of others who watched that movie. Gal Gadot really pulled that one off really nice and… sexy. Yeah!
I hope she doesn’t change her physique back to the rail thin Gisele Yashar character she played in the Fast and Furious franchise ever again. Oh wait, she died there. …Yay?
Anyway I just hope we get to see more of Gal Gadot in the future not just in sequels of Wonder Woman (because I think she is the perfect actress to take over the mantle from Lynda Carter) but also in other films that would give her character more depth and dimension.
And she really needs to do some squats. We need her butt to pop out some more, right?
Yeah!
This movie just made me a Gal Gadot fan.
Damn.
This movie was perfect for her and she for it.
